'Research' is the culmination of two years of songwriting from Mr Bergstrom. The whole album was recorded in a two week spell in February 2019 and even the older songs that have been released in the past, have been re-recorded and in some cases reworked.

The bandcamp release of the album includes a bonus commentary track from Mr Bergstrom and Works Of Ant where they discuss some of the musical influences and tell some stories about the songs.
